Our mission is to reduce suffering and amplify global happiness through the direct provision of essential resources categorized as Food, Shelter, and Medical services. We believe that meeting foundational physiological needs restores human dignity, relieves psychological trauma, and unlocks community problem-solving capacity.

Traditional charity often views poverty through a lens of perpetual deficit and pity. At Give Basic Needs, we recognize that impoverished individuals and rural villagers are resilient innovators who lack basic structural inputs. By providing clean water, rapid disease screening, and essential relief, we remove the friction of survival so communities can thrive on their own terms.
Following the withdrawal of traditional bilateral international healthcare aid in West Africa, Give Basic Needs initially planned to build brick-and-mortar clinics. However, when our April 2026 Kpatinga field data revealed that approximately 1 in 15 individuals tested was navigating the challenges of active viral replication of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV, we executed an immediate strategic pivot: building concrete clinics takes years; saving lives requires agile mobile intervention now. We permanently shifted 100% of our resources to the mobile Northern Health Shield, deploying scalable Clinic Units (running 10 identical units in parallel) and mobile rapid-response logistics, which are fully operational and already proven in Katani.
Legal Lineage & Institutional Governance
Give Basic Needs operates internationally through a legally separated, audit-proof dual structure:
- Colussi Family Foundation: A U.S. 501(c)(3) Private Operating Foundation (EIN: 87-1287029) incorporated in Nevada on June 1, 2021, providing capital endowments, technology, and 100% administrative overhead absorption. All tax filings and annual accounts are certified under penalty of law by an independent third-party CPA firm (Anderson Consulting) on Form 990-PF.
- Give Basic Needs: An external company of the Colussi Family Foundation (registered August 19, 2025) executing frontline clinical operations at 0% markup, with all regional expenditures audited via ERPNext 4-Point Match reconciliation.
