Greetings, everyone! We are excited to share some fantastic updates about the ongoing work on the Loreto lot and introduce our new Happy Stay program. This initiative represents a significant milestone for us, and we couldn’t wait to share the details with you.
Advancements on the Loreto Lot
Our dedicated general contractor, Lorenzo, has made remarkable progress on the Loreto lot. Here’s a rundown of recent achievements:
Electricity Inspection Completed The electricity inspection has been successfully completed, and we’re excited to announce that the power connection is expected to be activated in the next few days. This is a crucial step in our development process and brings us closer to fully operationalizing the lot.
Securing Water and Sewer Contracts A big thank you to Claudio and Jenni for their hard work in securing the water and sewer contracts. The trenches have been dug, and pipes are currently being installed. This vital infrastructure ensures the long-term functionality and sustainability of the lot.
Preparation for Fill Dirt and Compaction In the coming days, we expect to meet with our partners handling the fill dirt and compaction processes. We’re finalizing arrangements to ensure smooth progress on this aspect of the project.
Container Placement Logistics Lorenzo has been collaborating with Leo, our crane operator, to manage the placement of containers on the lot. They’ve planned the logistics to address fence and obstruction issues. The containers will soon move from Samir in Ensenada to Leo’s staging location in Loreto. This controlled delivery process will take about a week.
Introducing Happy Stay
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new initiative, Happy Stay, a campground designed to provide comfort and convenience while supporting our mission to give basic needs to the community.
Happy Stay’s website and payment processing have been fully designed and implemented. You can explore the website at Happy Stay. We would love to hear your feedback!
Features of Happy Stay Campground:
- Three RV spots equipped with essential amenities
- Two bathrooms with showers for added convenience
- A 1,000-liter cistern installed as part of the build
- Plans for a solid wall to replace the current chain-link fence, reducing road noise and enhancing privacy
We’re planning a “soft open” for Happy Stay. This gradual launch will allow us to refine processes and continue developing the site while ensuring a high-quality experience for all visitors.
