Addressing Critical Health Concerns
The medical event reached hundreds of residents through essential screenings and services. Among the tests performed, 1,000 were conducted for malaria and Hepatitis B. The results revealed 34 positive malaria cases and three positive Hepatitis B cases. These individuals were immediately referred to the local CHIPS compound for proper management and treatment, ensuring they received timely care.
Another significant aspect of the event was HIV testing. Out of 300 tests conducted, all returned negative, providing a sense of relief and hope to the community. Additionally, 200 condoms were distributed, accompanied by discussions on safe practices and preventive health measures.

Beyond the numbers, the event symbolized a beacon of hope for Nasuug. The outreach empowered individuals to take charge of their well-being by addressing immediate health needs and fostering awareness. For many residents, receiving free medical care was a rare and invaluable opportunity.
