Borehole Commissioning at Jingbang – 500+ Gifted

We are proud to announce the successful commissioning of a new borehole in the community of Jingbang in Northern Ghana, bringing free, safe, and clean drinking water to about 500 residents.

For many years, families in Jingbang have faced the burden of water scarcity. Women and children walked long distances to fetch water, often from unsafe sources shared with animals. But today, that has changed. With this borehole now completed and fully functional, the people of Jingbang have access to potable water.

A Daily Need, Now Met with Dignity

Water is essential for every household task—cooking, cleaning, bathing, farming, and staying hydrated. But for Jingbang, water was not always easy to come by. The strain it placed on families especially during the dry season was immense.

Now, with the borehole in place, life is different. Children can go to school clean and on time. Mothers can manage their homes with ease. And most importantly, the threat of waterborne diseases is greatly reduced, paving the way for a healthier and more productive community.

A Shared Resource, a Shared Future

The borehole stands not just as a water source, but as a symbol of shared progress. The joy expressed during the commissioning ceremony reflected how deeply this project means to the people of Jingbang which makes us proud as an organization to see small acts sprout into big happy.
